Bulbine frutescens

Bulbine is a drought tolerant grass-like plant that works well as an accent or next to a walkway!

Water Requirements: Initially regular watering, but drought tolerant once established.

Temperature: Hardy to 25 F

Soil: Well-draining soil, but highly tolerant of poor soil conditions

Growth Rate: Fast

Bloom Time: Yellow and orange blooms from spring to late summer

Pruning: Deadheading bulbine can cause a production of more flowers, but it isn’t necessary!

Features: Succulent, grass-like foliage that clumps as a ground cover. Gel inside can be used similarly to aloe.
