Mimosa strigillosa
The leaves of this flowering groundcover fold up when they are touched!
Water Requirements: Moderate water needs. Aim to keep moist. Needs plenty of water to get established, but is able to tolerate some drought after that.
Soil: Sandy, well draining soil is preferred, but mimosa can withstand many soil conditions.
Growth Rate: Fast
Bloom Time: Spring to Fall
Pruning: Cut back as desired. Deadheading is not necessary, but can be done!
Tips: Can be used as a flowering turf replacement!
