Jay, Senior Landscape Design Consultant

As a Horticulture Specialist, Jay has spent his 40-year career in the landscape industry. He holds a degree in landscape development and design and studied ornamental horticulture at The Ohio State University. He has served as Chairman for the Duval County Horticultural Advisory Board for two terms and President for Florida Turfgrass. He has received many service awards and was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NFGCSA. Jay has an eye for detail and enjoys creating modern landscapes with lots of color along with a coastal vibe. Jay believes that symmetry among color, texture, and form are crucial to his designs.

As part of our design process, Jay will come to your home and provide a complimentary landscape design plan and rendering tailored to your goals. Whether you're interested in a low-maintenance design or a more elaborate layout with eye-catching features, Jay will create a plan that’s sure to impress. After receiving your feedback, he’ll make any necessary adjustments and help you finalize a plan that suits your landscaping, maintenance requirements, budget, and timeline. Your landscape designer will serve as the project manager and coordinate with our nursery and installation teams to provide a turnkey design-installation experience with the best products and service teams in the southeast.
