Agave can be a great texture contrast piece, or a crucial addition to a desert landscape.
Water Requirements: Upon planting, water every 4 days for about a month. Then ease off slowly. Once established, Agave is highly drought tolerant.
Soil: Sandy, rocky soil that drains well.
Growth Rate: Slow
Temperature: High heat tolerance, prefers low humidity.
Pruning: Not needed
Toxicity: Has toxic juices that can be harmful to people or pets.
