This beautiful, shade-loving groundcover provides dense, low-growing foliage and showy flowers!
Water Requirements: Moderate, regular watering. Ajuga does not like to be too wet, and is drought tolerant once established.
Soil: Well-draining, moist soils.
Growth Rate: Fast
Bloom Time: Mid spring to summer
Pruning: Not necessary. No need to cut back or deadhead!
Tips: Try to avoid planting Ajuga as a turf replacement because it does not tolerate heavy traffic.
