Water Requirements: Moderate water needs. Water consistently and keep lightly moist. Can tolerate some drought but prefers not.

Soil: Moist soils. Not salt tolerant.

Bloom Time: Year Round unless frost

Temperature: Prefers heat. Will need to be covered in below-freezing temperatures.

Pruning: In the summertime, after the flowers begin to brown, cut Chenille back about a foot.

Toxicity: Can be mildly toxic to people if ingested.
