Water Requirements: Moderate watering. Extremely drought tolerant once established. Overwatering and soggy soil should be avoided.
Soil: Well draining, slightly acidic soil is best.
Growth Rate: Moderate
Bloom Time: Summer and Fall
Temperature: Thrive in hot summer temps.
Pruning: Do not require deadheading, but stems can be cut back if desired to increase bloomage.
Tips: If the stems seem floppy, the Gaillardias need more sun!
