Pine Bark
Pine Bark is a natural, organic mulch made from processed pine bark and offered in a range of textures, from fine pine bark fines to larger decorative nuggets. It helps retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil structure as it slowly breaks down, while allowing good air movement and drainage around plant roots. Pine bark is commonly used in landscape beds, around trees and shrubs, and in planting mixes depending on the selected size. Reapply every 12–18 months, or as the material naturally decomposes and coverage thins.
One scoop is approximately one cubic yard, covering 100-125 sq. ft. with 2-3 inches of depth before compaction.
