Water Requirements: Moderate water needs. Can survive on rainwater once established, but not tolerant to drought.
Soil: Rich in nutrients. Incorporating compost into the soil is the easiest way to ensure soil richness!
Growth Rate: Slow to Moderate
Bloom Time: Summer to Fall, about three weeks at a time.
Temperature: Prefers mild temperatures.
Pruning: Faded blooms should be deadheaded.
Toxicity: Toxic to pets in large quantities.
Tips: Hosta flowers can be very fragrant!
