Highly attractive to butterflies, the pastel colors and wispy looks of buddleia make it perfect for a European or cottage-style garden.
Water Requirements: Regular water. Water freely when in growth and sparingly otherwise. Drought tolerant.
Soil: Any.
Growth Rate: Fast During Season
Bloom Time: Late Spring to Summer
Temperature: Not cold hardy. May need to be covered for best results.
Pruning: Cut back to the ground every spring. Buddleia only blooms on new growth!
Tips: Plant in Spring or in Fall before frost. Buddleia are late to break dormancy, which means they will not start producing new growth until later in the spring.
