Caladiums are a beautiful warm-weather element to add to shady areas which come in a wide range of colors!




Water Requirements: Keep evenly watered, but stop watering during dormancy period.

Soil: Moist, well drained soil that is fertile. It would be helpful to mix in compost before planting.

Growth Rate: Quick to reach full height once they pop up!

Temperature: Caladiums will be dormant until temperatures are consistently above 70 F during the day and 60 F at night.

Pruning: Not necessary.

Toxicity: Toxic to cats and dogs when ingested.

Features: Unique, colorful leaves.

Tips: Caladiums will die back into the soil when the weather gets colder, but they will come back strong as soon as it warms up!
