Cleyera (Ternstroemia gymnanthera), also commonly known as Japanese Cleyera, is an evergreen shrub prized for its glossy green foliage, upright growth habit, and small clusters of white flowers. It is often used as a hedge, screen, or accent plant and performs well in North Florida landscapes when given well-drained soil and protection from harsh cold.
