Mecardonia (Mecardonia spp.), commonly known as creeping mecadonia, is a low-growing annual valued for its bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers and spreading habit. It forms a dense mat of foliage covered in blooms, making it well suited for borders, containers, hanging baskets, and groundcover plantings where continuous color and trailing growth are desired.

Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun to partial sun
• Water: Keep soil evenly moist but well-drained; water more frequently during extended  heat
• Pruning: Lightly trim if plants become leggy to encourage fuller growth and continued  blooming
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season to  maintain steady flowering
