Rubus idaeus, commonly known as raspberry, is a deciduous fruiting shrub prized for its sweet, flavorful berries and abundant harvests. Fun fact: like blackberries, raspberries are not true berries—they're made up of dozens of tiny drupelets, but ripe raspberries separate cleanly from their core, unlike blackberries. They are excellent for fresh eating, baking, preserves, and freezing.

Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun
• Water: Water regularly until established; once established, keep soil consistently moist, especially during flowering and fruit development
• Pruning: Remove canes that have finished fruiting and prune according to the variety (summer-bearing or everbearing) to encourage vigorous new growth and fruit production
