Fertilome Tree & Shrub Systemic Drench is a systemic insecticide that is absorbed through the roots and moves throughout the plant to provide long-lasting protection against a wide range of insect pests. The formula contains 1.47% imidacloprid and is designed for outdoor trees and shrubs, including certain listed fruit and nut trees.

Use / Purpose

Controls listed pests including aphids, adelgids, leaf beetles, leafhoppers, leafminers, mealybugs, lace bugs, scale insects, thrips, whiteflies, and certain borers. It provides systemic protection that can last up to a year when used as directed.

How to Apply

Measure the tree trunk circumference at approximately 4–4.5 feet above the soil. Mix 1 oz. of product per inch of trunk circumference in the required amount of water, then slowly pour the mixture around the base of the tree or shrub, keeping it away from the trunk. Follow the product label for shrub rates and specific application directions.

Warnings

• Read and follow all label directions before use.
• Do not apply to waterlogged or saturated soil.
• Do not apply near lakes, streams, rivers, or ponds.
• This product is toxic to aquatic invertebrates.
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing; wash thoroughly after handling.
• Because imidacloprid is toxic to bees, do not apply to plants when they are blooming or when bees are actively foraging.
