Fatshedera (× Fatshedera lizei) is a hybrid evergreen shrub combining the bold, lobed leaves of fatsia with the vining habit of ivy. Often used as a shade-tolerant accent or foundation plant, it provides year-round structure and deep green foliage in North Florida landscapes when protected from hard freezes.
Care Needs:
• Light: Partial sun to shade
• Water: Moderate; keep soil evenly moist but well-drained
• Pruning: Prune as needed to control size or encourage bushier growth
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring
