Fertilome Perlite - 8Qt. Bag is a lightweight, porous soil amendment that helps improve drainage and aeration in potting mixes. It is useful for creating a looser growing medium that allows roots to access air and reduces the risk of excess moisture around the root zone.

Use / Purpose

Ideal for container plants, seed starting, propagation, houseplants, and garden soil. It can be mixed with potting soil to improve drainage and aeration or used in propagation mixes to encourage healthy root development.

How to Apply

Mix perlite evenly into potting soil or other growing media at the desired ratio based on the needs of the plants being grown. For seed starting or propagation, combine with other appropriate growing materials to create a lightweight, well-draining medium.

Warnings

• Avoid breathing perlite dust when handling dry product.
• Moisten before mixing if dust is a concern.
