Heuchera, commonly known as coral bells, is a clump-forming perennial prized for its colorful foliage and delicate flower spikes. Available in shades ranging from green and silver to burgundy, purple, and bronze, heuchera adds long-lasting foliage interest to borders, woodland gardens, and containers. It performs best in well-drained soil and partial shade, although light needs vary by cultivar.
Care Needs:
• Light: Partial sun to shade
• Water: Water regularly until established; keep soil moderately moist but well-drained
• Pruning: Remove spent flower stalks and damaged foliage as needed; remove older foliage in late winter or early spring
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring if needed
