Liriope muscari

This perennial grass serves as a low-maintenance, blooming border grass.

Boldly variegated foliage, and soft lilac flower spikes highlight this evergreen perennial. Fuss-free and adaptable, resistant to insects and disease, and tolerant of heat and humidity when established. Excellent as groundcover, edging for a walkway, or filler in a tub of planting. 

Water Requirements: Low water needs. Drought tolerant once established, does not tolerate soggy/overly wet conditions.

Soil: Well-draining soil.

Growth Rate: Moderate

Bloom Time: Lavender, stalk like blooms in late summer and fall

Temperature: Cold hardy

Pruning: Not necessary.

Tips: Great for borders and mass plantings.
