Distylium (Distylium spp.) is an evergreen shrub valued for its dense foliage, compact growth habit, and small, fragrant winter flowers. Commonly used as a hedge, screen, or foundation planting, Distylium performs well in Northeast Florida landscapes, tolerating a variety of soil types and light conditions.
Care Needs:

• Water: Moderate; water regularly during establishment, then as needed
• Pruning: Light pruning to maintain shape; prune after flowering if desired
