An all-around impressive shrub, Gardenias feature a gorgeous shape, dark foliage, and fragrant, shapely white flowers.
Water Requirements:
Soil: Moist, well-draining soil
Growth Rate: Slow to moderate
Bloom Time: Summer
Temperature: Gardenias thrive in high humidity, and are cold hardy.
Pruning: Prune in early Fall, just after blooms have faded.
Toxicity: Can be toxic to pets if ingested.
Tips: Gardenias prefer part shade over full shade!
