Duranta
Duranta (Duranta erecta), also commonly known as golden dewdrop or skyflower, is a fast-growing tropical shrub valued for its bright green to golden foliage and clusters of purple flowers. Common in North Florida landscapes, duranta is often used as a hedge, screen, or accent plant and performs well in warm, sunny conditions.
Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun to partial sun
• Water: Moderate; water regularly until established, then as needed
• Pruning: Prune to control size and shape; responds well to regular trimming
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring and midsummer
