Soil: Sandy, rocky soil that drains well.

Growth Rate: Moderate

Bloom Time: Summer, but only once they are mature, at around 4 years old. Young Aloe Vera plants will not bloom.

Temperature: Not cold hardy, should be covered below 40 F

Pruning: Leaves can be removed at any time, but avoid harvesting too frequently!

Toxicity: Aloe Vera spikes can be mildly toxic.
