Meet Nia

Nia, Landscape Design Consultant

Nia has been a landscape designer for four years, operating from our St. Augustine location adjacent to World Golf Village. She holds a degree in Botany and has studied Horticultural Science at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). A Jacksonville native, Nia is a licensed nursery stock-grower in Florida and possesses a wealth of plant knowledge in our region. As for landscape design, she specializes in creating beachfront and salt-tolerant landscapes, drawing on her experience from projects in Kiawah Island, Palm Island, and Sullivan's Island to name a few. Nia is adept at analyzing soil composition prior to project initiation and enjoys working with an array of color palettes and pottery. Additionally, she provides clients with 3D renderings following her consultations, enhancing their project experience.

As part of her process, Nia will come to your home to create a complimentary landscape design plan and rendering that reflects your vision. Whether you're interested in a low-maintenance landscape, striking focal points, or a design with that “mega-wow” factor, Nia will craft a space with lasting impressions. After receiving your feedback, she’ll make any necessary adjustments and guide you toward a final plan that meets your landscaping goals, maintenance needs, budget, and timeline. Ready to discuss your project with Nia? There’s no obligation.

Landscape Design FAQs

Is there a warranty included with my landscape design project installation?

Yes, Liberty Landscape Supply offers different warranties depending on what you purchase, who installs and how it is maintained.

Does Liberty use its own employees or contractors for the installation?

Yes, Liberty Landscape Supply uses its own employees for most installation projects. There are a limited number of times when a specialist is needed, and we will sub-contract for that specific service.

Am I obligated to use Liberty Landscape Supply once I receive my landscape design?

Not at all. While we’d love the opportunity to complete your installation, you may DIY your project if you choose.

Can Liberty prepare a landscape design packet for my HOA to approve?

Yes, that is a common request, and we will gladly put together a landscape plan for your Homeowners Association’s architectural review board.

Do I need permits for any of the work you're proposing?

This will vary based on the type of work that is involved and the county you live in. Nia can answer this question once your landscape design plan is complete.
