Oleander is a gorgeous evergreen shrub for a tropical landscape!
Water Needs: Low water needs. Allow soil to dry out between waterings.
Soil: Dry, well-draining.
Growth Rate: Moderate, 1 to 2 feet per year.
Bloom Time: Spring to Fall
Temperature: Hardy to 20 F, best to cover in winter during freezes
Pruning: Not needed. If desired, prune in late fall or winter. Can also deadhead if desired, but it is not necessary.
Toxicity: Highly toxic to pets and people if ingested.
