Gomphrena (Gomphrena globosa), commonly known as globe amaranth, is a heat- and drought-tolerant annual prized for its long-lasting, globe-shaped blooms in shades of magenta, purple, pink, and white. Its compact, upright habit and continuous flowering make it ideal for garden beds, borders, and containers, and its flowers are excellent for fresh or dried arrangements.
Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun
• Water: Water regularly until established; once established, moderate watering is sufficient
• Pruning: Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooms
• Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during the growing season for steady flowering
