Juniper Parsonii (Juniperus chinensis ‘Parsonii’) is a low growing, evergreen shrub commonly used as a groundcover or spreading accent in North Florida landscapes. It features soft, blue green to gray green foliage and a naturally spreading habit that works well on slopes, borders, and mass plantings. Parsonii juniper is valued for its durability, drought tolerance once established, and year round color with minimal maintenance.
Care Needs:
Light: Full sun
Water: Water regularly during establishment; drought tolerant once established
Pruning: Minimal pruning needed; trim lightly to control spread if desired
Fertilizer: Not required; apply a light, balanced fertilizer in spring if growth is slow
