Stachytarpheta spp., commonly known as porterweed, is a fast-growing flowering perennial prized for its long, slender flower spikes that bloom continuously in shades of purple, blue, pink, or red. One of the best plants for attracting butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds, porterweed thrives in the heat and humidity of North Florida and South Georgia, making it an excellent choice for pollinator gardens and landscapes.
