Rosa spp., commonly known as rose, is a classic flowering shrub prized for its beautiful, often fragrant blooms and long flowering season. Available in shades of red, pink, white, yellow, orange, purple, and bi-colors, roses add timeless beauty to garden beds, borders, containers, and landscapes while also making excellent cut flowers.
Care Needs:
• Light: Full sun
• Water: Water deeply and regularly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings
• Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape, remove dead wood, and encourage vigorous blooming; deadhead spent flowers throughout the season
• Fertilizer: Apply a rose fertilizer in early spring and every 4–6 weeks during the growing season
