Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) is a cheerful, sun-loving wildflower native to Florida and much of North America. Known for its bright golden-yellow petals surrounding a dark brown center, it blooms from summer into fall, attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. Its hardy nature and vibrant color make it a standout in wildflower meadows, garden borders, and pollinator-friendly landscapes.

• Tips: Rudbeckia is a host plant for the endangered silvery checkerspot butterfly! For this reason, it is recommended not to use harmful insecticides on Rudbeckia.
